Default & repossession policy

Important information about missed payments and our right to recover the vehicle.

Payment is due on time

Weekly rental payments are due at the start of each rental period. Your deposit and first week's payment are due when you pick up the vehicle.

What happens if you default

If your payment is not received by the due date, your account is considered in default. Fleet Liberty reserves the right to immediately disable the vehicle and recover possession without prior notice.

Our right to repossess

Fleet Liberty retains title and ownership of all rental vehicles. In the event of non-payment, breach of the rental agreement, or unauthorized use, we reserve the right to repossess the vehicle at any time and at any location. You agree to surrender the vehicle and all keys, plates, and documents immediately upon request.

Remaining balance

Repossession does not cancel any unpaid rental charges, fees, damages, or costs incurred during the recovery process. You remain responsible for all amounts owed under your rental agreement.

Avoid default

If you are having trouble making a payment, contact us before your due date. We may be able to work with you if you reach out early.
